ACTIVITIES
The Community of Christ
Professional Teachers/Educators organization was originally formed
in 1994. Activities to date have included periodic meetings
of the the Board and general membership meetings at the
International Conference of the Community of Christ church. With the Internet as a tool, we hope to
increase our connection and action. Some of the activities currently
underway include:

providing scholarships to students planning
to enter the field of education. Want to

providing informal mentoring
for colleagues of like faith.

networking with sisters &
brothers with similar teaching assignments, sharing ideas &
anecdotes.

addressing projects or
educational needs in our communities and around the world.
For example, the organization is an active supporter of "Friends
United" in Honduras.

providing a
periodic newsletter with news of interest to
educator-members and friends of the Community of Christ.
